In Autumn 2017 Harrow Weald based charity Kids Can Achieve (KCA) was selected to receive a £300 donation as part of the Pro Provincial Grand Master's project to celebrate 300 years of the Craft. KCA supports young people in the Harrow area aged 5 to 25 with educational needs and disabilities. The £300 from Ruislip St Martin's Lodge went towards Christmas holiday club activities at the KCA Centre.

A further £10,000 grant to the Progeria Research Fund at Brunel University London. This cements a link with the University that began with an initial donation to the Fund of £5,000 last May, and means the Lodge has secured finance for the entire project. Ruislip St Martin’s is part of a Scheme set up by Grand Lodge to foster opportunities for anyone involved in university life to enjoy the fellowship of Freemasonry.

2011 Tents for Ruislip Scouts

The Lodge has donated two new tents to the 2nd/9th Ruislip scouts at a cost of £700 each to support their programme with young people.

Janet Grossman, wife of our then Master Elect Nick Grossman, was sponsored by the Lodge to the tune of £250 when she competed in the Virgin London Marathon on 13 April 2014.

Running as part of a five strong team supporting Nightingale Hammerson, a Jewish charity operating care homes in Clapham and Hampstead, Janet raised over £2000.

Well done to Janet and her fellow runners, who between them raised over £11,000 for the charity.
